My name is Zachary Marra, and I am currently Marketing and Communications coordinator for Lambton Golf and Country Club. I am a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University's (formerly Ryerson's) RTA Bachelor of Media Production program, an unmatched school in Canada for high quality content creation and marketing know - how. In my time in the field however, I have learned that some things cannot be taught and must be learned through experience - namely good intuition, a drive to produce quality work, a strong work ethic, and most importantly, passion for the work I do. I have several years of experience using programs in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including (but not limited to) After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I have experience in videography, both with studio multicamera setups, DSLR Boom Setups on sets, and various modern iPhone videography techniques, including drone work and gimbal technology. I am certified in multicamera studio production, and I've also completed my SafeSets certification. I have over 8 years of experience producing edited and stylized videos, artwork, designs and video overlays, VFX, 3D renders and environments, and branded social media content. I am an adept writer with a passion for storytelling, professionally trained both for television and film, as well as video games and marketing communications. I write for content and pitch content ideas to executive positions on a weekly and sometimes even daily basis. I frequently work with content calendars, meet tight deadlines, and am often required to shoot and turn around content in the same day. I am naturally competitive, coming from a background in esports, and I can be found on wikipedia for my World Ranking in Project Plus, and my Ontario Provinicial Rankings for both Project Plus and SSB Melee. My experiences in esports have taught me the value of competition with one's peers, but more importantly to oneself, and to always strive to beat your previous best work. My other major hobby, motorsports and automotive, has taught me the importance of patience, budgeting, understanding project scope, how to get my hands dirty, and to be a part of something larger than yourself. I bring a good natured and hardworking attitude to any team, I am attentive to new ideas, and I bring my passions to any role I occupy.
